Therapy

At the Donegal Psychology Centre, we offer a compassionate and collaborative space for individuals to engage in therapy that is responsive to their unique needs, circumstances, and goals.

Therapy is a process of exploration, understanding, and growth. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or simply seeking greater wellbeing, we aim to create a supportive environment where you can feel heard, respected, and empowered.

What to Expect

When you begin therapy with us, you’ll work with a qualified psychologist who will take time to understand your experience and tailor support accordingly. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all approaches — instead, we draw from a range of well-established psychological models to provide care that is flexible, evidence-informed, and genuinely person-centred.

Our work together might involve:

  • Developing new coping strategies

  • Exploring patterns in thoughts, feelings, or behaviour

  • Building self-awareness and resilience

  • Setting goals and identifying strengths

  • Addressing past experiences that continue to impact your life

Therapy is guided by your values and preferences, and sessions can evolve over time based on what’s most helpful for you.

Who We Support

Therapy is available to individuals aged 16 years and over. We also welcome neurodiverse individuals, as well as those from gender, sexual, and relationship minority groups.
