Who We Support
We work with individuals aged 16 years and above, including those who:
Are experiencing challenges consistent with:
Anorexia Nervosa
Bulimia Nervosa
Binge Eating Disorder
Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
Are preparing for or recovering from bariatric surgery
Are using weight-loss medications and want support with eating patterns, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour change
Struggle with body image, body confidence, or self-worth
Feel stuck in cycles of dieting, restriction, or emotional eating
Want to explore their relationship with food and emotions
Identify as neurodivergent and experience unique challenges with eating or appetite regulation
Our Approach
We work from a non-dieting, weight-inclusive approach to care. That means:
We do not promote dieting or restriction, and we don’t label foods as “good” or “bad”
We focus on helping you develop a healthier, more sustainable relationship with food and your body
We explore how food, eating, and movement function in your life emotionally, socially, and physically
We support you to build coping strategies, reduce shame, and enhance self-compassion
We view body image, identity, and self-worth as core parts of the healing process
This work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and an understanding that eating challenges are rarely just about food.
Eating, Neurodiversity, and You
We have a special interest in the overlap between neurodiversity and eating difficulties. Many individuals with ADHD or Autism experience unique challenges with:
Sensory sensitivities
Focused patterns and preferences
Appetite dysregulation
Emotional eating
Food avoidance or aversion
We take a neuro-affirming approach to understanding these challenges, helping you develop insight, skills, and routines that work with your brain, not against it.
Online and In-Person Appointments
Sessions are available in-person at our centre in Dungloe, or remotely via video call platforms (e.g., Zoom) — whichever format feels most accessible and comfortable for you.
